It’s time for another Etsy shoutout! As many of you know, my upcoming wedding will be themed around two crazy characters – our velcro Vizsla Abby and our wise Schnauzer Remington. I have found so many amazing artists on Etsy who are partnering with me and our furry babies to help feature their lovingly handmade products. I was recently delighted to receive two handmade signs – one for Abby to wear as she walks down the aisle and the other to display dog-themed drink names for our custom bar. Amanda Barbere from Green Chickens is extremely talented and her meticulous crafting is quite evident. Her Etsy shop includes wooden animal pull toys, farm fresh egg signs, wedding signs and various other custom signs. Check her out at the below links and be sure to tell her Remington and Abby sent you!
A Note from Green Chickens:
Looking for quality old-fashioned handmade country treasures that are environmentally friendly too? Wooden animal pull toys, farm fresh egg signs, wedding signs and custom signs are my specialty. I have one of the most extensive color collections of fresh egg signs, all handmade by me! I would love to make you a custom farm, garden, wedding, business or quote sign, or even a pregnancy announcement sign! I offer affordable custom lettering and I have quick turn-around times on custom orders.
I am an animal lover with a passion for creating natural products with low environmental impact. I use reclaimed wood whenever it is available, and wood that was not cut from a forest for all the rest (this is wood that is milled from trees that either fell, or had to come down, and it is not kiln dried). All of my paint is non-toxic, and my packaging is as low waste as possible (I use the brown paper that paper bags come wrapped in that usually gets thrown out at stores). I have plenty of signs for dog and chicken lovers, and I love making custom signs. My pregnancy announcement signs are a great way for dog lovers expecting a human baby to include the dog. I have a dog, three cats, two sheep, and a bunch of chickens on our mini farm.
