I am SO excited to finally be in print again! My photos have been published numerous times, but it’s been quite awhile since my writing has graced the inside of a magazine.
“Keeping Pets and Babies Safe Together” is published in the January 2017 issue of HerLife Magazine! Thank you Emily of Canine Solutions Kansas City for the insight. To read the full article online, go to this link.
I have a journalism degree and once upon a time thought I might be a reporter. Life has an interesting way of taking you in a direction that is meant to be. My full time job is in social media/marketing, and my weekend job is a pet photographer. I also photograph pets for the Tails of Devotion regular feature in The Hills Magazine and now I am a freelance writer for HerLife Magazine. Combine all that with being a new Momma and I have totally lost my mind, right?!
In all seriousness, I love what I do. There is something so gratifying about putting your skills to use and continuing to exercise your mind. I challenge everyone to follow your passion. I read an Oprah quote posted by my friend Jenny Matthews the other day and I think it really rings true. “Follow your passion. It will lead you to your purpose.”
