In case you have not read about it yet, I have taken the plunge to expanding to full time pet photography and let me tell you – I have been busier (and happier) than ever! Marketing daily, passing out flyers, updating my client packaging, speaking with local pet businesses and taking my (readily available and thrilled) mascot Remington along for the ride! I have been slacking on my blogging, so thought I should post some updates on this beautiful Friday night.
Just took this photo today during a playdate with some of my best friends. Bailey is known to “photo bomb” photos I take of Kevin the Chow and to prove she did the same thing – here is a 2011 and 2012 version! Just in case you wondered the Urban Dictionary online describes photo bombing as “the fine art of ruining other people’s photos. Usually by running in the background or making a silly face in the background.”
Life + Dog Magazine
Pet memorial sessions of mine were featured in the latest Life + Dog Magazine. I was honored to have been able to contribute photos I have taken of dogs who have since crossed the rainbow bridge. Life + Dog posted a special online article and I was able to submit all the photos of every pet I have photographed who have passed. If you have loved and lost a pet, I hope you find peace and comfort and know that your beloved’s memory lives on forever in your heart.
Happy Tails Books
I am also excited to announce that Ruthie, a very special dog who I photographed and has since been adopted, is the new cover girl of the latest Happy Tails book! You can order copies at Amazon.com or presale at this link: http://www.happytailsbooks.com/books/dog-breeds-e-l/dogs/
