I am always up for new challenges, so when I was contacted by a family who wanted a custom session starring their pig – I couldn’t resist! My typical treats, human squeaker noises and crazy antics did not have the same effect on a pig that I am accustomed to with dogs. A definite learning experience that also required a few extra hands. Despite the approaching rain storm and chaotic nature of photographing a unique pet, we still made it happen! This aligns with some recent client feedback “… Jen will do whatever it takes to have a meaningful session.”
Here you will see what I might call a blooper or “before” shot. I am trying to focus and balance my camera while enticing Walter with his favorite cucumber snack. As you can see, my arm isn’t ideal in the shot. But after Walter warmed up to the concept of a camera in his face and with a little editing magic, we have some photos worth framing.
