Here I am at 20 weeks! Still not huge yet, but I hear that is coming after the 20 week period. I am mentally preparing myself for increased aches and pains and will probably require more assistance getting up after I lay down. I just had my full Level 2 sonogram today which detailed every measurement and she is healthy and right on track. As a future Mom, I worry all the time and especially before appointments. So many things could go wrong in this crucial developmental stage. We are blessed to have continued good news and I am so thankful.
Not much new to report in pregnancy sagas other than a firm bed REALLY helps lower back pain and prescription prenatals with iron eased those red meat and cheeseburger cravings (although that wasn’t really a bad thing!) Shoutout to the fabulous pharmacist at CVS who noticed my vitamin copay was $60 per month and educated me about an online coupon I could present from the manufacturer website. Saving $40? Yes, please!
I may be biased but isn’t she the cutest??! She is 12 oz, right on track with all measurements and still likes to bury her head in my lower back/hip. She was waving again today and had her hand on her nose. We now have 100% confirmation it’s a girl. An early anatomy scan was performed and we learned gender around 16.5 weeks but my crazy type A self was worried after I redecorated the entire nursery and stocked up on girl clothes, they would tell me – Just kidding – it’s a boy now! No worries though, all is well.
