I am really excited to reveal my latest partner. The Whistle is one of the coolest tech devices I have seen for pets. As an avid Fitbit user myself, I thought it was genius for someone to create something similar for pets. Who doesn’t want to know what your pet is up to during the day when you aren’t around? And this device is especially useful if you hire dog walkers or pet sitters and wonder if your pet is actually getting the exercise you are paying for.
The Whistle Activity Monitor is an on-collar device that measures your dog’s activities including walks, play and rest and gives you a new perspective on their day-to-day behavior and long-term health trends. You can set a daily goal for your pet to reach. 30-60 minutes of activity is recommended by most vets. You can even upload photos to go along with your pet’s activity. (For example when you are walking your pet yourself and want to capture them in action and in sync with their tracking stats!) Currently the device app is only compatible with I-phone but Android compatibility is coming in Spring 2014.
Whistle has been featured nationwide on CNN, ABC News and The Wall Street Journal just to name a few. They have over 20,000 followers on Facebook and are extremely active on social networks. Check them out at their below sites and pre-order before the end of the year to secure the current lower price. I think you will be as impressed as I am! Stay tuned for more adventures with Remington as he steps his way through life with his new activity monitor.
